Using the Suspicious Review Case Builder (Step by Step)

A button-by-button walkthrough of building a removal request for a suspicious review right inside your Revora AI dashboard.

The Suspicious Review Case Builder lives right inside your dashboard. It helps you spot, document, and submit a removal request for a review that may break Google's policies. It never calls a review "fake," never labels the reviewer, and never promises Google will remove anything — Google makes the final call. Here is exactly how to use it.

How a review gets flagged

It's a hybrid — not auto-reported, and not left entirely to you. Revora proactively flags reviews with a clear policy red flag (exposed personal information, threats, or extortion) right in your Inbox so you don't miss them, and it analyzes any review you open against Google's policies. But you always decide whether to build a case, and nothing is ever reported to Google automatically. You stay in control the whole way.

Step 1 — Open the review

Go to the Reviews tab, find the review that concerns you, and open it. On reviews that are eligible, you'll see a Build removal request option. (Reviews from customers you requested through Revora AI's SMS review requests are never flagged — those are genuine customers, so the Case Builder will tell you so instead of building a case.)

Step 2 — Read the policy read-out

Revora AI analyzes the review's public content and shows you two things:

  • A Policy match badge — High, Medium, Low, or None — for how closely the review resembles a reportable policy issue.
  • Possible policy signals — the specific patterns it noticed (for example harassment, off-topic content, or a conflict-of-interest hint).

This is a starting read, not proof. A "None" simply means nothing in the public text matched a policy category — a genuine 1-star you disagree with is not eligible, however unfair it feels.

Step 3 — Add your side (optional)

Two optional fields let you add context in your own words:

  • "What do you want Google to know?" — a short, factual note, e.g. "This person was never a customer; we have no record of this visit."
  • "Who do you suspect, if anyone?" — a dropdown (never a customer / former employee / competitor / personal dispute / prefer not to say).

Keep it factual. Anything you write is kept as your statement, not Revora AI's conclusion. You can skip both and still build a request.

Step 4 — Build the removal request

Click Build removal request. Revora AI assembles:

  1. A step-by-step playbook for reporting the review inside your Google Business Profile.
  2. A paste-ready, neutral appeal text you can copy straight into Google's report form.

The case is saved to your records so you can check back on it.

Step 5 — Submit it on Google

Follow the playbook: open the review in your Google Business Profile, use the three-dot menu → Report review, choose the closest policy reason, and paste the prepared text. Keep the wording neutral — Google checks the content against its rules, it does not referee your dispute. If it's declined, you can use Google's one-time appeal for a second look.

What it will and won't do
