What Happens If Your Google Business Profile Is Suspended
Revora detects suspensions, pauses operations on that location, alerts you, and preserves your data read-only until you resolve it with Google.
Profile suspensions are serious but recoverable.
How Revora detects it
Revora checks your profile status via the Google Business Profile API. If your profile is suspended, we spot it.
What Revora does
- Pauses operations — no new drafts queued, no SMS campaigns run on that location
- Alerts you — you get an email with the notice and a link to Google's support
- Preserves your data — reviews, drafts, and replies are held read-only
Why we pause
Drafting against a suspended profile is pointless — the replies can't post — and SMS requests would point at a hidden profile. Pausing avoids wasting your budget.
What you need to do
Suspensions are resolved by Google. Common causes include review-policy violations, copyright or defamation claims, business-closure or relocation issues, and Google-account payment problems. Follow Google Business Profile Help for reinstatement.
Getting back online
Once Google reinstates your profile, Revora detects it and resumes all features automatically — no action needed from you.
Need help?
If the suspension reason isn't clear, email us. We can't override Google's decision, but we can help you read the notice and navigate the process.
