When Google Changes Their API

Revora monitors Google's changelogs and notifies you within 24 hours if a change affects features you use. Our posture: degrade gracefully and tell you.

Google updates its APIs regularly. Here's how Revora handles it.

Our approach

We monitor Google's GBP and Places API changelogs and adjust. When a change might affect Revora, we assess the impact, build or adjust the integration, and tell you what changed.

Your notification

If a change affects a feature you use, you'll get an email within 24 hours of it going live, covering what changed, which features are affected, what we're doing, and any action you need to take (usually none).

Our posture: degrade gracefully

We don't silently break a feature and hope you don't notice. If something degrades because of a Google change, we tell you.

A real example

When Google tightened review-request enforcement in April 2026, we built that guidance directly into the product — see Google's April 2026 Review Policy Changes.
