What Is AI Visibility and Why It Matters
AI Visibility Readiness is a 0–100 score across eight controllable signal groups. It measures your reputation surface — it never predicts AI-engine mentions.
AI Visibility Readiness measures how cleanly AI engines and search engines can read your business.
What it really means
It's a 0–100 score tracking how clean your reputation surface is. It reflects controllable signals — things you can improve — not the engines' decisions.
The eight signal groups
- GBP completeness — hours, categories, website, photos
- Review volume and recency — enough reviews, and current ones
- Response coverage — the share of reviews you've replied to
- Low-star handling — do you address 1–3 star reviews promptly
- Business-facts consistency — same hours, address, phone across Google, your site, and directories
- Website readiness — fast, mobile-friendly, clearly about your business
- GBP post freshness — do you post updates regularly
- Competitor comparison — how your signals compare locally
What it is NOT
- Not a guarantee that ChatGPT, Gemini, or Google AI Overviews will mention you — we can't control that
- Not a Google Search ranking — that algorithm is separate and more complex
- Not a complete health score — it's specifically about readable reputation signals
Why it matters
A high score doesn't guarantee mentions, but a low score makes you hard to find. Improving your score removes the barriers. Each signal in your dashboard shows where you stand and what to improve next.
